How about favorite Buckethead song... Of tonight? Is that too specific..? Too stressful trying to pick an overall favorite!

It was absorbed by Rhapsody, then a year or so ago they re-branded themselves as Napster again. It’s a subscription music service now. $10/mo for unlimited streaming. I find their app to be much better than Google Play Music or Amazon Music.

I’m not sure if there’s really a pattern here, but these are the songs I keep coming back to time and time again.

A few too many to pick from, so I’ll just throw in some picks from the more obscure and occasionally strange end of the pool in case any of you are feeling adventurous. Pardon the embed-unfriendly videos.
Uchu Konbini - Pyramid
Japanese Math Rock that manages to be technically satisfying without being overwhelming. Pity the band was so short-lived.
N.A.S.A. - Spacious Thoughts (ft. Tom Waits and Kool Keith)
Tom Waits pops up in the middle of a large-scale, collaborative hip hop album and delivers a performance more monstrous than any of the other artists involved could ever hope to achieve.
Fever the Ghost - SOURCE
I’m not sure anything I type here can provide an adequate explanation. Part of this one is just the excellent music video by Felix Colgrave.
Islands - Where there’s a Will there’s a Whale Bone (ft. Subtitle and Busdriver)
Indie art pop/rock meets underground/alternative hip hop. There’s a lot going on here that tickles my brain in just the right way. Believe it or not, I know all the words.
